Houston, TX, September 23, 2019 – Paramedic Supervisor Billy Slagle from South Lake Houston Emergency Medical Service has recently shared his department’s experience with the WOLFCOM Vision Body Cameras and WOLFCOM Evidence Management System. South Lake EMS currently has a total of 30 professionals using WOLFCOM body cameras.

According to Billy, a nearby EMS department uses WOLFCOM body cameras and told them about it. “One of our neighboring departments was using them [Vision body cameras] and we liked the feedback for it,” said Mr. Slagle. “We liked the cameras that they used, we liked the setup that they used, so we went ahead and got them,” he added.

Chief Michael Barber from Bonanza P.D. says WOLFCOM Body Cameras are a Great Fit for his Department

Bonanza, AR, September 23, 2019 – Chief Michael Barber from the Bonanza Police Department has recently shared with WOLFCOM their experience with the Vision Body Cameras and WOLFCOM Evidence Management System. The department currently has a total of 4 officers equipped with WOLFCOM cameras.

According to Chief Barber, after doing a lot of research, WOLFCOM seemed to be the best fit for his department. “[After] looking at various bodycams and systems, WOLFCOM is actually the best fit for us,” said the Chief. After being asked why, he said “camera features, the size of the camera, the videos are non-proprietary, in other words, I can send that to the prosecuting attorney and be able to do that without having to have multiple places and different software to view the video.”

Noble P.D.’s Jared Cox Says Officers are Happy With Their New WOLFCOM Halo Body Cameras

Noble, OK, September 20, 2019 – The Noble Police Department has recently purchased WOLFCOM Halo Body Cameras and Communications Officer Jared Cox says officers like the upgrade. Noble P.D. has been using WOLFCOM Vision Body Cameras since 2014 and has recently upgraded to Halo Body Cameras in early 2019. The department currently has 11 sworn officers wearing WOLFCOM body cameras.

Chief Jeff Welge from Bella Villa P.D. says WOLFCOM Offers Good Quality Cameras for a Decent Price

Bella Villa, MO, September 5, 2019 – The Bella Villa Police Department has recently purchased WOLFCOM Halo Police Body Cameras and Chief Jeff Welge says officers really like it. Bella Villa P.D. has been using WOLFCOM body cameras since 2012 and currently has 10 officers equipped with WOLFCOM body cameras.

According to Chief Welge, Bella Villa P.D. officers have been using body cameras for years. “Years ago we were having complaints on officers and we decided that body cameras were the way to go, even before it was the popular thing to equip your officers with,” said the Chief. “Every department gets complains about traffic stops and we’ve had to go back and review videos. Since we got the new Halo cameras, we’ve reviewed several videos in reference to complaints and it has exonerated our officers each and every time,” he added.

Los Lunas Police Department Recently Purchased 8 WOLFCOM Halo Body Cameras and Lt. Hernandez Says Body Cameras have Always been a Wonderful Tool

Los Lunas, NM, August 30, 2019 – Los Lunas Police Department currently has 42 officers wearing WOLFCOM body cameras. Lieutenant Jose Hernandez says the department has been using body cameras since around 2006 and that they have always been a wonderful tool. According to him, they have been using audio recorders to document their interactions with the public since 1999, many years before body cameras came around. It only goes to show how much Los Lunas P.D. values transparency between their officers and the community they protect.

Lt. Jeff Goad from Milan, TN Police Department Says WOLFCOM Body Cameras Constantly Help Officers on Cases

MILAN, TN, August 29, 2019 – Milan Police Department has recently purchased WOLFCOM Halo Police Body Cameras and Lt. Jeff Goad claims officers are happy with it. The department has also been using the WOLFCOM Evidence Management Software (WEMS) since July 2018 and they like the extra layer of security the software provides them.

According to Lieutenant Jeff Goad, the officers prefer the Halo Body Cameras over the older model they previously used. “The 4 officers that are using them [Halos] like them, they don’t want to go back to the old ones. I gotta talk to the Chief, but we may be switching everybody over to the Halos,” said the Lieutenant. “What the officers like is the one button on the front. You just tap the button on the front, it records, you tap it again and it stops,” he added. The Milan Police Department currently has a total of 6 officers using WOLFCOM Body Cameras ─ 4 using the Halo and 2 using the Vision. Jeff also claims to like the affordability of this new camera. “The price of the Halo is great,” said the Lieutenant.

Brownton Police Department’s Chief Ken Bauer says WOLFCOM Offers a Solid Body Camera System at an Affordable Price

BROWNTON, MN, August 27, 2019 – Brownton Police Department recently purchased 5 WOLFCOM Halo Police Body Cameras. The purchase also included an on-premises storage solution and licenses for the WOLFCOM Evidence Management Software (WEMS).

According to Chief Ken Bauer, the decision to purchase body cameras was preventive. “The way law enforcement is going right now, with everybody’s public perception of law enforcement, I just felt it [purchasing body cameras] protected my officers as well as the public”, said Bauer. Currently, 6 of his officers are using WOLFCOM Body Cameras and they like the idea of using this new tool. “They understand the importance of the accuracy [of facts] and, also, as far as any complaints that may be filed against them. In this month and a half, we’ve used it to exonerate one [officer] that had a complaint made against him. I pulled up the video and he was very, very polite,” said the Chief. “I think in the long run, most officers are gonna see the value of them. And that makes it an easier sell too,” he added.

Air Force Awards a Contract for WOLFCOM Body Cameras

The United States Air Force has awarded WOLFCOM a contract through its Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. This program is a hidden gem offered by the U.S. government in partnership with AFRL, NSIN, and AFWERX that aims to help domestic small businesses score deals with government agencies. It facilitates the process by shortening application steps, accelerating contract awards, as well as allowing for shorter periods of performance.
