Visual Tactical Advantage

Police using body camera to peek into a dark room.

The WOLFCOM 3rd Eye can also be used by an officer to peek around corners or into a dark room or attic giving him a safe tactical advantage without exposing his body to harm. An officer can also use the 3rd Eye to record video or snap a photo for later analysis of the situation. Video or photo images from the 3rd Eye's perspective will provide officers with precious intelligence such as how many suspects, hostages, weapons, and types of weapons, including the layout of the room or area. Our low-light capability and infrared technology allow the officer to see who and what is waiting for him in the dark. Watch the sample video below.

Use as an In-Car Camera System

WOLFCOM In-Car camera system.

The WOLFCOM 3rd Eye can also be used as an in-car camera video recorder. During Video recording, GPS coordinates are stamped onto every Video file. When reviewing videos on our software you'll be able to see the route of the video simultaneously on a map next to it and as the video moves so does the dot on the map. This is valuable when reviewing video of a foot or car chase as you'll be able to see the exact route taken as footage of the chase unfolds before you.
Unlike other police in-car video Cameras, the Wolfcom 3rd Eye features a rotating camera mount that allows the officer to reach up and turn the camera completely around to film the back seat. This feature is important when video documentation of a suspect in custody in the back seat is necessary. With our low light night vision technology, the Wolfcom 3rd eye will capture everything day or night.

2-Way Radio Integration

police body camera, Wolfcom 3rd Eye

The Wolfcom 3rd Eye can also be connected to your 2-way radio replacing your current lapel speaker mic. This means no extra equipment to carry or worry about. The Wolfcom 3rd Eye does not use battery power from your radio and the speaker mic will still function even if the WOLFCOM 3rd Eye runs out of power or is turned off. With Covert Ear Piece Connectivity, you'll be able to discreetly monitor radio traffic without alarming the public or giving away your position during tense situations. The earpiece plugs right into the radio cable and screws securely in place.

Record in Stunning 1080p Resolution

Wolfcom 3rd Eye is able to record in 1080p resolution, 60 FPS, and up to 18 hours of video. This device features One Touch Recording for instant video recording activation. During video recording, an officer can also reach up and discreetly press a camera button that will silently snap a photo of the person or persons being questioned. Its 120-degree built-in wide-angle lens captures more than just the action. With a wide-angle field of view, combined with HD quality video, playback puts you right in the shoes of the user. With built-in GPS, every video will have time, date, and GPS Coordinates stamped onto each and every video file, frame by frame and picture by picture. Our video files use H.264 / AVC (Advanced Video Coding) compression, which is an industry standard. H.264 is a form of converting digital video into a format that takes up less capacity when it is stored or transmitted.

16 Megapixel Digital Camera with GPS

Audio Voice Recorder

The WOLFCOM 3rd Eye also has a voice recording option for recording sound when no video is needed. Perfect for recording victims or witnesses statements, especially when they are camera shy. During questioning, an officer can simply detach the unit from his body, switch the Wolfcom 3rd Eye to Voice Recorder Mode and hold the unit like a microphone in front of the person being questioned. The unit can store over 500 hours of audio recordings. We are the 1st company in the world to have a Voice Recorder built into a speaker Microphone.

Use as an In-Car Camera System with GPS

The Wolfcom 3rd Eye can also be used as an in-car camera video recorder. During Video recording, GPS coordinates are stamped onto every video file. When reviewing videos on our software, you'll be able to see the route of the video simultaneously on a map next to it and as the video moves, so does the dot on the map. This feature is important when video documentation of a suspect in custody in the back seat is necessary. With our low light night vision technology, the Wolfcom 3rd eye will capture everything day or night.

Night Vision Capability

The 3rd Eye is the very first police body camera featuring infrared LEDs for lowlight and night time situations. The switch to activate the night vision LEDs are located at the front of the unit making it easy to switch on in stressful conditions, Night vision can be toggled on or off with ease in both video and camera mode. The Wolfcom 3rd Eye also allows the user to take photos while recording video simultaneously.

2 User Password

The Wolfcom 3rd Eye has a two user password protection system which means an administrator will have complete control over how the units are used and can set user permissions and access. Admin can also decide whether or not officers can playback, delete, download files, or change settings. With the 1.5 version, user settings can be made so that an officer can download files but not delete files. It also can be configured so that an officer can or cannot playback files. The admin can choose if an officer can change any settings themselves or if they need the admin's approval to change a setting. With the Wolfcom 3rd Eye, every option is configurable.

Add Badge Numbers to Video and Photo Files

wolfcom 3rd eye police body camera displays badge number onto image and video files

Now law enforcement agencies that purchase the Wolfcom 3rd Eye will have the ability to enter an officer's badge number onto the unit. The badge number will be displayed in 2 locations. On the bottom of the display screen and also on every video and photo file. All video and photos taken with the Wolfcom 3rd Eye will have the Date, Time, Badge Number, and GPS coordinates stamped onto it. It will accept up to 8 Alpha-Numeric characters.

Police File Tagging

A user can now tag and lock important files for easy access and security. For example, a police officer may have hundreds of photos, videos, and audio files recorded and stored on his unit but have no way of tagging or marking what's important to him. What usually would happen is an accidental erasure of important evidence. An officer can now tag and lock important files for easy access later and to prevent accidental deletion of that file.

Invert Recording Feature

Because the Wolfcom 3rd Eye can be integrated into a two-way radio replacing an officer's lapel mic, some police officers prefer to wear their lapel mics across their back over the shoulders with the lapel mic hanging upside down. This will usually result in upside down video. However, with the new 1.5 version, the Wolfcom 3rd Eye can now be configured to record video right side up when the unit is hanging upside down.

Invert recording

Audio Mute When Recording Video

Some States or Territories like Puerto Rico and Massachusetts have laws that prohibit an officer from recording audio but allow video to be recorded. With the Wolfcom 3rd Eye, an officer can deactivate audio recording so that only video is being recorded. He can mute the microphone with a push of a button even during video recording without interrupting the video or set it so that Audio Recording is off permanently. When activating the WOLFCOM 3rd Eye only Video will be recorded.

Visual Tactical Advantage

officers using the 3rd eye's vta feature

Better to expose your 3rd Eye than your two real eyes. Our low light capability and infrared technology allow the officer to see who and what is waiting for him in the dark. How many times have you had to search an attic or crawl space for a suspect? An Officer can use the 3rd Eye to safely look over walls, into dark attics and crawl spaces without exposing himself to harm.

Using our special attachment, just attach the unit onto the end of a baton or broomstick, activate Night Vision recording and let your 3rd Eye do the work for you.

The WOLFCOM 3rd Eye was the very first police body camera system to incorporates GPS Geotag that stamps the longitude and latitude coordinates onto every video and picture file, frame by frame and picture by picture. When reviewing videos on our Evidence Management Software, you'll be able to see the route of the video simultaneously on a map next to it and as the video moves so does the dot on the map. This is valuable when reviewing video of a foot or car chase as you'll be able to see the exact route taken as footage of the chase unfolds before you. The map can also be changed from regular map view to Satellite View showing actual photos of the surrounding areas taken by satellites in orbit.

Location Tagging During A Pursuit

During a foot chase or vehicle pursuit, an officer has a million things going on in his mind. The last thing he wants to do is to take his eyes off the suspect. With the Wolfcom 3rd Eye GPS Geotag function the officer can press the Snap Shot button to record the exact location that an item was tossed out by a suspect. After the pursuit is over, if the officer cannot remember the location where the items were tossed, he can then bring up the GPS coordinates to pinpoint the exact location.

Automatic GPS Time and Date Synchronization

With GPS Time Sync, the date and time are always accurate. Although the officer can manually adjust the date and time himself, with our built-in GPS Sensor, the officer never has to worry about it. The Wolfcom 3rd Eye's internal clock will automatically be updated using received GPS information from satellites in orbit. This is the same GPS sensor that will stamp the Wolfcom 3rd Eye's GPS coordinate onto every video and picture file. With GPS GeoTag, the location where the video or photo was taken cannot be disputed.

GPS with Time and Date Stamp and Unique ID

wolfcom 3rd eye police body worn camera date and time stamps

The Wolfcom 3rd Eye was the first police body camera with time, date, and GPS coordinates stamped onto the upper left-hand corner of every video and picture file. Not only can the officer prove what day and time the incident took place, but he can also prove his exact location as well. Each Wolfcom 3rd Eye unit also has its own unique ID that can be assigned to a specific officer. With our GPS GeoTag sensor built right into the unit, the location of the video or photo will always be recorded and saved to memory.

Evidence Gathering with GPS

With the Wolfcom 3rd Eye, an officer can instantly snap photos of crucial evidence from crime scenes, evidence gathering victim injuries, vandalism, property damage, car accidents, burglaries, drugs, weapons, etc. Every photo will have GPS coordinates stamped onto every image file along with date and time. Crime scenes photos or videos taken with an officer's personal mobile phone may be confiscated and used as evidence. Personal photos of the officer may be used to discredit as well as embarrass the officer and/or department.

2" LCD Screen with Instant Playback

The WOLFCOM 3rd Eye allows the officer to instantly playback audio, video, and picture files. The officer can pause, rewind and fast forward at a maximum of 16x speed. During video playback, the officer can pause a video and perform a screen capture saving the image to memory. With our Password Protect feature the officer can only playback and review files but cannot delete anything unless permitted by the Administrator. The Wolfcom 3rd Eye will be there for you. It will see and remember what you forgot. It will be the truth behind false accusations when you need it the most!

HDMI Connect To HD TV

connect your wolfcom 3rd eye police body worn camera to a tv with an hdmi cable

Instantly Playback Audio, Video or Photos on An HD TV. In the event of a terrorist attack such as the Boston Bombing, an Officer may have precious video recorded on the 3rd Eye that must be view and assessed quickly. He may be instructed to take the 3rd Eye directly to the nearest FBI station or Mobile Command Center so that the video can be quickly assessed. This means that the unit must be able to plug into a car computer or TV monitor so that the video can be carefully and quickly assessed and a decision made. The WOLFCOM 3rd Eye

allows the officer to connect the unit directly to a TV or Monitor via an HDMI cable to instantly playback audio, video, and picture files. The officer can use the WOLFCOM 3rd Eye as a remote controller to pause, rewind, and fast forward the video or image files. During video playback, the officer can pause a video and perform a screen capture saving the image to memory. Because the WOLFCOM 3rd Eye records in High Definition of 1080P, the crystal clear video will put you right in the shoes of the Officer.

Screen Capture

A bomb has gone off during an event. An officer thinks he might have a video of the suspect on his WOLFCOM 3rd Eye. He reviews eight minutes worth of video footage until he finds his man. Time is of the essence! This image of the suspect needs to be quickly distributed to other agencies! How can he save this image without going through another eight minutes of Video? With the WOLFCOM 3rd Eye the officer can simply press the Snap Shot button to capture the image on the screen and save it as a photo. The photo can then be quickly accessed without going through the video footage again. The photo can also be quickly downloaded onto a PC and emailed, printed, or faxed.

Discreet Photo Capture

The Wolfcom 3rd Eye allows the officer to discreetly snap photos during Video Recording. In the event that an officer is speaking to someone and wants to take a picture without that person knowing, all he needs to do is simply reach up and press the snapshot button. The Wolfcom 3rd Eye will silently take a photo of that person and save it to memory. This is extremely useful in the event that a person becomes a suspect, the officer can quickly pull up that

person's image without going through several minutes of video.

Interview Room Recording

The Wolfcom 3rd Eye can also be used to record statements in the interview room. The officer can set the unit down on a table and begin recording video, audio or both. If recording in video mode, the unit can record up to 17 hours of video. If recording audio only, the unit can record over 500 hours. The unit can also be plugged into a computer's USB port or wall charger for continuous power.

Switch Instantly From Body Camera To In-Car Camera

wolfcom 3rd eye body worn camera can instantly be turned into a dash camera

With the Wolfcom leather case, the unit can also be attached to our high-quality windshield mount to use as a vehicle dash camera. During a traffic stop, the officer can detach the camera from the windshield mount and quickly attach it onto his uniform to use as a body camera. After, the officer can detach the unit and mount it back onto the windshield. With our new quick-release system, you'll be able to quickly detach the unit to take photos of crime scenes, record audio statements, and peek around corners. And with our built-in detachable LCD cover, you'll be able to flip the back cover open to change modes or playback files.

360 Degree In-Car Camera Mount

The Wolfcom 3rd Eye can also be used as an in-car video recorder. Unlike other police in-car video mount cameras, the Wolfcom 3rd Eye features a rotating camera mount that allows the officer to reach up and turn the camera completely around to film the back seat. This feature is important when video documentation of a suspect in custody in the back seat is necessary. With our low light night vision technology, the WOLFCOM 3rd eye will capture everything day or night. One of the advantages to this is that most misbehaving suspects will behave once they know they are on camera.

32 GB Of Memory

Record over 17 hours of video, 20,000 photos, or 500 hours of audio. The 3rd Eye has a whopping 32 GB of memory with the highest quality memory and the fastest read-write speed in the industry of 45 MBS. That means high-quality recording and playback every single time. It's temperature proof, waterproof, shockproof, and X-Ray proof.

60 FPS Fast Recording to Capture Every Detail

The 3rd Eye can record at a blazing 60 Frames Per Second capturing every single detail with crisp clarity. In the event of a pursuit, an officer-involved shooting, or false allegation, every frame must be scrutinized for important clues and details. When playing back video, an officer or investigator can advance the video frame by frame forward and backward. The more frames the better. Sometimes an officer's career can ride on just 1 frame.
