Halo Body Camera
The Halo is the newest addition to the WOLFCOM solution. With a whopping 10-hour battery life, the Halo is waterproof and rated at IP67. X2 Smart Docking Station
The WOLFCOM Halo Police Camera has its own proprietary docking station that's able to charge and download the files from up to 8 or 16 Halo cameras at once. The docking station can be connected to a workstation via USB, allowing automatic transfer of videos, photos, and audio recordings to the backend solution, the WOLFCOM Evidence Management Software (WEMS). Once files have been transferred, the X2 proceeds to delete all data on the camera and begins charging it for the next days use, and files are then processed, tagged with all meta-data, and secured with a SHA2 hash. Every X2 Smart Upload Docking Station comes with WEMS Extractor pre-installed.

Future Technology Ready ™ (FTR)

Vibration and Visual Confirmations Alerts
The unit has vibration confirmation when activating and de-activating recording. At any time, an officer can look down into the top of the unit at the status indicator light to confirm if his camera is ON and Recording.
One Touch Record (OTR)
The Halo Police Camera features a unique technology called One Touch Record (OTR). This technology allows officers to start and stop recording with the press of a button. To begin recording audio and video, simply press the center halo button. While recording video, you can simultaneously take photos by pressing the photo button on the side of the device. To stop recording, just press the halo button once more.
Public Awareness Light (PAL)
The Halo features a Public Awareness Light (PAL), located on the front of the unit. The purpose of the PAL is to inform the public that they are being recorded. Designed to promote good behavior from the knowledge of being recorded, the PAL can be programmed according to the officer's or department's preferences.

Advanced Pre and Post-Record with Audio
The unit also features configurable pre and post-record at 1080P resolution with audio. In the event an officer is under a stressful situation and forgets to turn their camera on at the right time, this feature will capture what happened before the unit was powered on, making sure nothing is left unrecorded.
Night Vision Capability
The WOLFCOM Halo police camera features infrared LEDs for lowlight and night time situations. Night vision is configurable and can be turned on or off according to each department's policies.

The WOLFCOM Halo incorporates GPS Geotag that stamps the longitude and latitude coordinates onto every video and picture file, frame by frame and picture by picture. 1.0 Introduction
The use of body-worn cameras (BWCs) by criminal justice practitioners (e.g., patrol, corrections, SWAT and other tactical responders) offers potential advantages in keep-ing officers safe, enabling situational awareness, improving community relations and accountability, and providing evidence for trial. These products are also sometimes called officer-worn or wearable cameras. In the last couple of years, there has been a dramatic increase in the criminal justice use, public and media attention and commercial offerings of BWCs. This market survey report aggregates and summarizes information on commercial BWCs to aid criminal justice practitioners considering planning, acquisition and implementation of the technology in their agency. In 2011, a brief market survey reference was published by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Sensor, Surveillance and Biometric Technologies Center of Excellence (SSBT CoE), Body Worn Camera Information Sheet (http://goo.gl/rSWrcV).[1] The following year, a report was published that highlighted topics for agencies to consider while pursuing BWC implementation, A Primer on Body-Worn Cameras for Law Enforcement (https://www.justnet.org/pdf/00-Body-Worn-Cameras-508.pdf).[2] This report updates
product information in those earlier offerings.
1.1 About the NIJ SSBT CoE
The NIJ SSBT CoE is a center within the National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center (NLECTC) System.[3] The CoE provides scientific and technical support to NIJ’s research and development (R&D) efforts. The Center also provides technology assistance, information, and support to criminal justice agencies. The CoE supports the NIJ sensor and surveillance portfolio and biometrics portfolio. The Centers of Excellence are the authoritative resource within the NLECTC System for both practitioners and developers in their technology area(s) of focus. The primary role of the CoEs is to assist in the transition of law

La Wolfcom Vision es preparada para el futuro. Tecnología de Re-Conexión Crítica (CRC)
Desarrollado por Wolfcom Enterprises, esta tecnología pendiente de patente protege al usuario de pérdida de audio y grabación de vídeo si la cámara externa o POV (Punto de vista) de la cámara se haya desprendido la unidad de impresión principal.
La cámara del cuerpo de policía Wolfcom Vision es el primer sistema de cámaras de cuerpo en el mundo con “Tecnología de Re-Conexión Crítica” que protegerá a un oficial en ese momento crítico en la cabeza o una cámara montada en el collar se arrancó durante una lucha con un sospechoso. Alertas de Vibración y Confirmaciones Visuales
La unidad cuenta con la confirmación de la vibración cuando se activa y la grabación de-activación. En cualquier momento, un oficial puede mirar hacia abajo en la parte superior de la unidad a la luz del indicador de estado para confirmar si su cámara de cuerpo está encendido y grabando. Esta misma luz de estado no puede ser visto por el público.
Luz de Visión Pública
La Wolfcom Vision cuenta con un primer Pública de la conciencia de luz (PAL) situado en la parte frontal de la unidad. El propósito de la PAL es para informar al público de que están siendo grabadas. Diseñado para garantizar la buena conducta del conocimiento de que se está grabando, el PAL se puede programar a parpadear durante la grabación, permanecer constante o no enciende en absoluto. El PAL es completamente programable con sus preferencias.
Grabación de Voz de Audio
La Wolfcom Vision también tiene una opción de grabación de voz para grabar sonido cuando no se necesita de vídeo. Perfecto para la grabación de las víctimas o de las declaraciones de testigos, sobre todo cuando son
tímida. Durante el interrogatorio, un oficial puede simplemente separar la unidad de su cuerpo, cambiar la unidad al modo de grabadora de voz y mantenga la unidad como un micrófono delante de la persona que está siendo cuestionado o colocarlo sobre una mesa. La unidad puede almacenar más de 180 horas de grabaciones de audio.
16 Megapíxeles Cámara Digital con Flash y Linterna
Esta cámara cuerpo policial puede tomar hasta 28.000 fotos. Above the Shoulder View
The new Wolfcom Vision™ Police body camera can be worn horizontally on a shoulder epaulet. By rotating the camera upwards 90° degrees the unit can be clipped on to the shoulder epaulet instantly making it an above the shoulder camera.

Extended Battery Pack
Adding an optional battery pack will extend the battery life of the Vision body camera to 24 hours of continuous non-stop recording. There's also a smaller battery pack as well, which gives your Vision a total of 5 hours of recording time.
Docking Station and Management Software
The Wolfcom Vision police body camera can be docked into a docking station. Docking stations are modular and can connect to each other. Each docking station will charge and download the files from the main unit and also charge the extended battery module. The docking station is connected to a workstation via USB which allows automatic transfer of recorded videos, digital photos and audio recordings to the backend solution, the Wolfcom Management Software. Once the files have been transferred, they are processed, tagged with all meta-data and secured with a SHA2 hash.
The Vision body camera is designed with "chain of custody" and security in mind. The memory of the unit is not removable. The camera is sealed with security screws and can only be opened by a Wolfcom technician. When the unit is plugged into a computer, files cannot be accessed without the correct software and password. All of this ensures that your evidence cannot be tampered with.

GPS GeoTagging
The WOLFCOM 3rd Eye’s GPS Geotag Software will stamp the GPS Latitude and Longitude coordinates into every image and video files, picture by picture, and frame by frame. When replaying the WOLFCOM 3rd Eye’s Police Body Camera video using our software you’ll be able to see on a map exactly where that video or image was taken. We are the First Body-Worn Police camera manufacturer with this feature.
